KidKommute allows you to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data. You can do this by contacting us directly.
1. Send an email to support@kidkommute.co.za with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
2. Include the email address associated with your KidKommute account.
3. We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days.
4. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
• Your personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
• Child information and transport assignments
• Chat messages and notification history
• Push notification tokens and device information
• Profile photos
Certain data may be retained for legal or operational purposes, including anonymized trip records required for regulatory compliance, financial transaction records as required by South African law, and data necessary to resolve any outstanding disputes. Retained data will be kept only for the minimum period required by law and will be permanently deleted thereafter.
